Youth Building Green Program is a registered Non Governmental Organization and aims to contribute to achievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by promoting conservation and management of the environment with the aim to impact the youth, school going children and communities through increased incomes and employment creations i.e. establishing of orchards, kitchen gardens in schools and recycling of plastic materials among other activities.

YBGP was established in 2005 as a Youth group and later registered as a Non Governmental Organization [NGO] on 11th August 2005 with its offices in Karen shopping centre, we realized that there was a lot to be addressed on environmental conservation and management. The best people to explain about Youth Building Green Program it would be schools and community members with the areas of operation i.e. Nairobi, Makueni and Kajiado Counties. We are driven by passion, purpose, pride to develop and work with schools / communities to promote, practice and realize the need to conserve the environment. YBGP improves lives by creating awareness on environment conservation and management through planting of suitable sufficient fruits/tree saplings and establishment of kitchen gardens in public schools to supplement their school feeding programme.
